About Signal

A conference built by people who were tired of the other kind.

Our story

We started Signal because we kept leaving conferences with a tote bag and nothing else

Conference attendees listening to a speaker at a table

Signal was started in 2025 by a small group of marketing strategists who had sat through one too many keynotes that were really just product demos in disguise. We wanted an event built around the actual work of setting strategy: the trade-offs, the internal arguments, the bets that did not pay off.

Today Signal runs twice a year, caps attendance so every session stays a conversation rather than a broadcast, and turns away sponsors who want a keynote slot instead of a booth.

How we build the agenda

Every session has to earn its slot

We ask speakers to bring a mistake, not just a win

Every speaker is asked what did not work as much as what did. The failures are usually more useful than the highlight reel.

We cap the room on purpose

Signal stays small enough that you can actually talk to the person who just spoke. We turn away registrations once the room is full rather than move to a bigger venue.
